Leone’s Restaurant: Authentic Italian Pizza and Family Dining in Springfield, MA

We were in on Friday Jan. 16 around 5pm. We were greeted and seated without any delay. Our server was very pleasant and took our order right away. Our selections were at our table very promptly. I had ordered the pasta pomadoro and it was absolutely fantastic. Tomato sauce just like my Italian grandmother. My friend had the fish and chips and she was very happy with it. Our server came by twice to see how we were doing. I wish I had gotten her name, a very pleasant person. Our evening dinner at Leone's was the highlight of our day. Thank You Leone's.

Absolutely fantastic! Excellent food and overall a great experience! Thank you, Rick (at the bar) for your great conversations and phenomenal customer service. Do not let this place slip under the cracks. Go check them out. You will not be disappointed! Edit: 02/11/25: This is becoming my once a week spot! The food here is so fresh and delicious! Oh, and try the Ice Cream Man on tap. It's is super tasty! Edit: 02/25/25: And there pizza is Edit: 03/11/25: Whoa! If you haven't had the Emeril Chicken, you're missing out on something special. The chicken is breaded and stuffed with an aromatic vegetable and andouille sausage risotto, served with a spicy tomato cream sauce! 4 levels of hotness to choose from. I had level 2, and I thought it was the perfect amount of heat. BAM!

Delicious food as always. But my biggest pet peeve is spending $$$ on a dinner and getting a takeout condiment container with my meal. It downgrades the experience. Mr. Leone, I can't figure out how to reply to you...or if it will let me. The salad was served with the plastic condiment conditioner containing the salad dressing. I don't know if that is standard practice, but it wasn't expected with this level of dining.

Great Italian restaurant! Dining atmosphere is suitable for small to large groups. The bar area is separate from the dining area, which is a plus for me. The customer service was very good. The food was delicious with nice serving portions. Try this place out!

Leones is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that truly captures the essence of a family-style Italian restaurant. The décor is beautiful, creating a cozy yet elegant setting that makes you feel right at home. The food was nothing short of fantastic. We started with the mozzarella balls, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and deliciously gooey on the inside. Even the complimentary bread and oil were exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and the perfect start to our meal. For entrées, we had the Chicken Francese and the Chicken Florentine Pizza, both of which were outstanding. The Chicken Francese was tender, with a bright, lemony sauce that balanced richness with just the right amount of zest. The pizza was a standout, with an incredible depth of flavor—the confit garlic added a rich, savory touch, complementing the other ingredients perfectly. The crust had the perfect crispness, striking that ideal balance between chewy and crunchy. Beyond the incredible food, the service was top-notch. Our server, Debbie, was absolutely wonderful—attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s clear that Leones values both quality and hospitality, making for an unforgettable dining experience. If you're looking for amazing Italian food in a warm, welcoming environment, Leones is the place to go. Highly recommend!

My first time going to Leone’s and I was not disappointed. Elijah (our server) was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He was quick, friendly and professional, and he made sure that we got everything that we asked for. The food was phenomenal cooked perfectly excellent portions and tasted delicious! The lamb was excellent!! And the oil dip for the bread is the best concoction I’ve had! So scrumptious

This was my first time eating here and I can say I was not disappointed. The pizza tasted so fresh, not greasy at all. The pasta is better than olive garden and the fish and fries looked really good too. Our waitress alwas.super nice and very attentive. And also did dessert. Will definitely recommend and come back. Best pizza and wings are great too!

This was my first time eating here, one thing working EMS has done was made me finis food quick. However this place delivered on more than just the quality. The atmosphere was welcoming and strangely nostalgic, from the ambience to the classic music selection. The food came out in a timely manner, and the dedication to presentation was noticeable. Even with several families dining at once in the area, you are still made to feel like the star customer. Not once did I feel like I was forgotten. And the waiters and waitresses were professional and friendly. It’s always good to leave a tip as good practice, but excellent service demands more and that’s what leads me to writing reviews. Thank you all for making me feel welcomed and providing a memorable service that will have me coming back again in the future.
